Our Approach

The core of our program is a comprehensive annual exam in which we go head to toe and review all the major organ systems as well as assess mental health and well being.  The practice is especially focused on advanced cardiovascular risk reduction, using a combination of life style and nutritional counseling along with specialized lab evaluations to help minimize the risk for a heart attack or stroke.

Our mission is to enhance a person’s quality of life. We view quantity of life as the bonus we seek, yet the main focus is on quality of life.

In addition, we believe patients should be able to communicate easily with the practice.   The office phones are answered by a live person, and all patients are given Dr. Mayer’s cell phone number along with access to our electronic medical record portal for secure email messaging.
